Breaking: Rivers girl Chikemzi Ogwubie makes distinction, bags 9 A’s in her WAEC exams

Chikemzi Praise Ogwubie best WASSCE 2020 candidate

Young Chikemzi Praise Ogwubie aged 16 a native of Choba in Obio-akpor LGA Rivers state broke record in the 2020 West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) published in November.

Chikemzi may have emerged the overall best 2020 WASSCE candidate in West Africa following the distinction recorded in all her nine subjects.

Her father Henry Ogwubie who could not hold back his joy for her daughter’s academic exploit wrote on his Facebook wall, 
“My daughter got 9 A1 in the WASSCE results published today, I thank God for His goodness towards her. 
“As a father, I pray and wish her efficiency, success and stability in her future endeavours. To God  be the glory”, he said.

Speaking with Naijatvnet her father said Chikemzi is a calm and unassuming growing child, with a great future and does not like outings.

He further said Chikemzi Praise wishes to study Medicine and Surgery in the University.

Following her unprecedented academic exploit, Nigerians at home, abroad and lovers of education have called on the Rivers State Government and the Federal Government and good spirited Nigerians to offer her scholarship abroad as a way of rewarding hardwork and academic excellence.
