Eke takes oath of office, declares project delivery for second term

The Executive Chairman of Ahoada East Local Government Area, Chief Barr Ben Eke has declared that his administration will be focused on service and project delivery. Ben Eke made the statement at Ahoada immediately after taking oath of office to serve his people for a record second term as the Executive Chairman of Ahoada East.
” We have come to drive the aspirations of the people and assist them generate necessary policies and programmes in line with the NEW Rivers Development Blueprint which our project Governor is assiduously working on. I thank you for finding me worthy to serve for second term, it’s my wish that our empowerment programmes will be extended to all no matter the location” he ended.

Among the first actions of Chief Barr Ben Eke after swearing in was his offering a hand of reconciliation and friendship across political divides. The aim is for all Ahoada East men to join hands protect our collective destiny and promote the interest and well-being of our dear LGA.
On project execution, the Mayor said ” we are going to embark on projects that will outlive us beginning with the construction of a befitting Council Lodge, continuation of work on the already resurveyed and cleared stadium not forgetting other critical sectors that will call for attention such as Health, Education, Agriculture etc.
