EKPELENI EKPEYE CALLS FOR PARTNERSHIP FOR EKPEYE’S DEVELOPMENT
 
~Bemoans Rising Insecurity in Ekpeye
 
 
The need for synergy and positive partnership for Ekpeye’s development is ever crucial and demanding of all her segments, groups, sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora.
 
The present challenges bedeveling Ekpeye ethnic nationality are huge and multidimensional. The gradual resurgence of insecurity in Ekpeye land, the deteriorating electricity and general infrastructure, lack of jobs, scholarship and empowerment opportunities for her teaming young population constitutes a serious concern hence continues to pose a great threat to her peace, stability and development.
 
In surmounting these challanges staring deeply in her face EKPELENI EKPEYE– Ekpeye’s foremost Socio-economic and political advocacy group has canvassed for a robust partnership and collaboration of all Ekpeye stakeholders and citizens home and abroad with the new Ekpeye headship with the view of addressing these challanges.
 
The Ekpeye’s Socio-economic & Political watchdog EKPELENI EKPEYE made the call on Saturday during a courtesy visit on His Imperial Majesty Eze Dr. Kelvin Anugwo, Eze Ekpeye Logbo 111 in his Palace at Ula-Upata Ahoada East LGA Rivers State.
 
The group expressed worries over the resurgence of insecurity in the land, describing it as a setback that must be nipped urgently.
 
Insecurity is an age long enemy of Ekpeye’s development and must be contained before it spreads.
 
Presenting a gift to the Ekpeye paramount ruler the EKPELENI EKPEYE President Elder Robinson Jonathan Ewoh said the group expresses their appreciation to God for the emergence of a new Eze Ekpeye logbo after the demise of Late Eze Robinson O. Robinson, Eze Ekpeye logbo 11.

As partners in Ekpeye’s development the President further pledged Ekpeleni Ekpeye’s full support to his leadership and assured him of her loyalty.
 
Chief Micheal Nwuche further unveiled the Ekpeleni Ekpeye’s collective resolve to partner and support the Eze Ekpeye logbo-in-council and other developmental partners and institutions in Ekpeye land.
 
 
Chief Nwuche who said the group was in his palace to identify with the king expressed Ekpeleni Ekpeye’s readiness to support his leadership to succeed.
 
Responding the Ekpeye paramount ruler Eze Anugwo with joy welcomed and thanked the group for their show of patriotism and action expressed through the visit and stressed his unflinching commitment to Ekpeye’s progress.
 
He promised to engage the group in his activities and programs going forward.
 
In the delegation were; it’s President Elder Jonathan Robinson Ewoh, Secretary General Comrade Ogboka Umeda, High Chief Micheal M. Nwuche JP., Director of Finance/Treasury, and Mr. Monday Oyagiri Asst. Secretary General
 
Other members are Hon. Kenneth Edanuko Director of Youth and Culture, High Chief Ebelogu Ubadinma, Pst. Bob Festus Onukwube and Comrade Gideon Ele.
 
Diaspora Members from the United kingdom and the United States who sent in their Goodwill messages are; Sir Billy Odumuzor President Uzugbani Ekpeye United kingdom and Mr. Dinma Alaeze Usama Ekpeye United States of America.
