Eze Ekpeye Logbo Recieves New Executives Of Uzugbani Ekpeye… Charges Them To Break New Grounds And Support His Traditional Governance For Peace, Unity And Development.
The newly inaugurated members of National Executive Council of Uzugbani Ekpeye, the apex social cultural organisation in Ekpeye Ethnic Nationality have paid a courtesy call on the Eze Ekpeye Logbo of Ekpeye land, His Imperial Majesty, Eze Kelvin Ngozi Anugwo as part of efforts to familiarise with the Ekpeye monarch and support his traditional leadership to achieve success in the land.
The historic visit took place on Friday August 26, 2022 at Eze Ekpeye Logbo’s palace, Ula Upata Community in Ahoada East LGA of Rivers State.

Speaking at the ceremony, the President General of Uzugbani Ekpeye, Dr Ukechukwu Nyemenim said the visit was to associate with him following his emergence and subsequent coronation as Eze Ekpeye Logbo 111.
Dr Nyemenim said as the traditional head of Ekpeye Nation, it became imperative for the National Executive Council of Ekpeye People’s General Assembly to consult him on the way forward to achieving sustainable peace, unity, growth and development in the land.
He declared that as next year’s general election approaches there is need to synergise and pursue Ekpeye’s interest stressing that the time to change the narrative is now.
While highlighting insecurity, seeming disunity among the traditional class, Uzugbani Ekpeye functional secretariat and mobility as some of the challenges, the President General of Uzugbani Ekpeye however, believes they are not insurmountable.
Responding the Eze Ekpeye Logbo of Ekpeye land, Eze Kelvin Ngozi Anugwo while congratulating the new Uzugbani Ekpeye Executives on their election victories and formal inauguration, charged them to break new frontiers, be courageous in voicing out on things that will promote the interest of Ekpeye and above all, avoid anything that will dent their image.
The Eze Ekpeye Logbo who spoke passionately about the Ekpeye Civic Center paid glowing tribute to his predecessor, His Majesty, Eze Robinson O Robinson for his foresight and boldness in building a gigantic Ekpeye Civic Center, and announced that work has commenced at the Centre and will be completed for use.
The Ekpeye monarch promised to call for regular meetings as according to him “we owe Ekpeye people enormous responsibilities, all of us should be on the same page to move Ekpeye forward”.
Other issues bordering on Ekpeye Constitution, Uzugbani Ekpeye Secretariat and visit to Government House also formed centre stage of discussion as the Executives of Uzugbani Ekpeye promised to further consult especially, the Eze Igbus, political, social and elites classes so as to realise set objective.
Recall that the new National Executive Council of Uzugbani Ekpeye was inaugurated on August 18, 2022 and will run the affairs of Ekpeye Nation for the next four years.
