Rivers State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has approved the appointment of Professor Okechukwu Onuchukwu as the Acting Vice Chancellor Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt.
Marshal Obuzor Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on New Media made the disclosure on his verified Facebook handle on Thursday.

Professor Onuchukwu would be replacing his predecessor Professor Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele who was appointed by Governor Wike in 23rd November 2016.
Until his appointment, the Professor of Economics was the former Dean of Social Sciences at the University of Port Harcourt.
