1.) Business Planning and Analytics Manager

Job Description

  • Engage Group Executive and Group Heads to document the Division’s strategy document and decompose the strategy into critical quantitative operational metrics
  • Design and build business performance operational metrics and analytics leveraging intelligent analytics tools  to monitor strategy implementation for the Division covering technology, digital innovation, and banking services for Nigeria and African subsidiaries
  • Prepare and publish high-quality reports for the GE for CEO monthly briefing meetings and Board Committee meetings
  • Prepare and publish high-quality performance reports for the divisions monthly and quarterly performance meetings (MPR)
  • Conduct both local and global research on banking and technology transformation trends and produce high-quality insights/recommendations
  • Serve as a single point of contact for Division-wide programs/initiatives e.g. CSR, Employee engagement programs, etc.
  • Take initiative to monitor trends and highlight useful trends that will require taking action by the Division to improve the performance, and customer engagement, and ultimately increase the profitability of the Bank.
  • Design and implement a system for tracking and dashboarding the status of agreed priority initiatives across various units in the Division and working closely with GE and GHs to ensure the timely execution of strategy
  • Support Group Executive and take on specific responsibilities as may be assigned to GE from time to time.

Duties & Responsibilites

  • Coordinate strategic activities for the Office of GE Technology, Digital Innovation & Services  to strengthen relationships within the bank and with various stakeholders
  • Coordinate the efficiency efforts of the GE  Technology, Digital Innovation & Services for maximum impact
  • Assist in preparing Board papers, speeches and presentations, etc, on behalf of GE  Technology, Digital Innovation & Services, and follow up on implementation of Board directives
  • Monitor and analyse budget performance for the directorate
  • Generate periodic reports for the attention of the GE  Technology, Digital Innovation & Services
  • Collaborate with departments and teams on improvement initiatives
  • Participate in strategic planning activities of the directorate and monitor implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Develop capex and opex budget for the offoce of GE Technology & Services
  • Coordinate annual budgeting process for the directorate
  • Coordinate Technology and operations support for African subsidiaries
  • Follow up on action items/activities with relevant Technology & Services departments to ensure necessary action is taken
  • Build Interactive Power BI Dashboards

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Education: First Degree in any related discipline. Higher degrees and relevant professional certificates (added advantage).


  • Minimum experience: 4 years of relevant experience covering business planning and data and analytics experience.
  • Use of SQL for scripting and data visualization and analytics e.g. PowerBI etc.

2.) Head, Diaspora & Expatriate Banking

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the Liaison between the Diaspora customers and the bank to ensure growth of the business value chains and profitability in addition to maximizing the Bank’s revenue.
  • Drive market share expansion of the expartriate banking business through product channeling and value creation. Work with product managers to ensure customers’ feedback is considered in all new products and changes done to existing products.
  • Actively participate in the development of budgets and target as they relate the diaspora and expatriate business and ensure achievement of monthly and annual targets.
  • Develop and implement targted business development strategies by anticipating developments, trends and opportunities within the diaspora banking business.
  • Develop marketing and sales plan to achieve target for the department.
  • Develop and Retain Key Customer Relationships In the diaspora and promote the FirstDiaspora Brand.
  • Drive the team’s product sales and performance (supervise marketing calls/road shows locally and internationally to drive business) and provide strategic direction focused on the continued growth and development of the banks presence and relationships.
  • Provide overall recommendations and performance reports to Senior management with regards to Products, Services, Processes and procedures that relate to Diaspora Banking business.

Job Requirements
Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any other equivalent and relevant qualification from an accredited institution.
  • MBA or M.Sc. is an added advantage.


  • Minimum experience – Minimum of 10 years working experience in Retail Banking/Commercial Banking SBU
  • Prior Good understanding of financial products and business principles related to banking.

3.) Wealth Management Specialist (Private Banking)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Advice clients and Relationship Managers to meet the clients’ desired wealth management and investment objectives and therefore increase the bank’s share of the client’s wallet.
  • Plays a key role in liaising with the RMs in discussing clients’ wealth management requirements as well as ensure flow of product knowledge.
  • Drive the uptake of wealth products in a client centric manner.
  • Support Private Banking and Retail Affluent RMs to drive knowledge of wealth products and sales.
  • Drive customer experience through quality advice strategy, products offering, RM relationships.
  • Work with the Team lead, to provide independent opinion on quality of clients’ existing investment portfolio and wealth needs.
  • Determine clients’ risk appetite, investment preferences and returns expectations by partnering with RMs in client meetings.
  • Provision of relevant solutions given client’s needs/objectives.
  • Liaising with product partners (FBN Quest, Trustees and Insurance) to enhance clients’ experience.

Educational Requirements

  • First Degree in any discipline with minimum of 2.2. or Higher National Diploma (HND) with minimum of Upper Credit.

4.)Relationship Manager (Private Banking)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and deepen relationships with both existing and prospective clients- High/Ultra-High Networth Individuals.
  • Receive and ensure prompt execution of requests from Private Banking clients.
  • Ensure client profitability by closely monitoring product utilization and transaction activities.
  • Handle credit processing for clients including but not limited to providing support to the middle office in preparing credit requests.
  • Initiate structuring of investment to meet client’s needs.
  • Win new accounts and resuscitate dormant relationships.
  • Profile Clients and drive the sales of Wealth Management and Investment Solutions Portfolio/services to meet client’s needs.
  • Work closely with the Team Lead to implement appropriate marketing strategies aimed at positioning the Bank as Market Leaders in the high value segment business.
  • Generate leads and work closely with the Team Lead to close business deals.
  • Understand the competition & formulate counter strategy to safeguard the Banks position and win new business.

Education & Experience

  • A good First Degree from a reputable institution.
  • Eligible candidates for the Private Banker role must have a minimum of 2 years banking experience in Private Banking, asset management or investment banking.
  • Hands-on experience in managing ultra-high net worth clients.
  • Track record of success and achievement in client origination and retention.
