Rivers state Civil Service Commission Promotion Exercise 2023.
~Directs Civil Servants to Respective Ministries for Collection of Promotion Letters
The Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike in fulfilling it’s promise to workers in the state has approved promotion letters to affected workers in the state Civil Service.
The news is contained in a circular signed by the Chairman Rivers State Civil Service Commission Sir Clifford Walter Ndu on 26th May 2023.
In a statement the commission hereby notifies members of the Civil service who participated in the just concluded promotion exercise organized by the Commission that the letters of promotion have been released for collection.
The commission further directs those concerned to visit thier ministries, Agencies and department to sign and collect thier promotion letters.
On 13 March, Governor Nyesom Wike charged the Civil Service Commission under the chairmanship of a former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Works, Clifford Ndu Walter, to conclude all promotion and employment processes within a month.
He said this at the swearing-in of members of the Rivers State Civil Service Commission in Government House Port Harcourt.
He disclosed it was in fulfillment of a promise to promote serving workers and employ an additional 10,000 into the civil service.
