...Commends Buhari for Correcting the Injustices of June 12
Three days leading to the much awaited 29th May 2023 inauguration President Muhamadu Buhari has confered the highest national honour to the President Elect Bola Tinubu and the Vice President-elect Kashim Shetima.
The President-elect was confered with the honour of Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR) while the Vice President-elect was confered with the title Grand Commander Order of the Niger (GCON).
Speaking at the investiture Bola Tinubu commended President Buhari for his courage in taking tough decisions others avoided which include recorgnising June 12 as democracy day in Nigeria and for bestowing the nation’s highest national honour to late M.K.O Abiola to correct the injustices of June 12 1993 presidential election.
Bola Tinubu who recorganise the dark parts of democracy and the challenges ahead said with faith and purpose the challenges would be surmounted.
The investiture preceds the inauguration taking place on the 29th of May being the handover date from the present administration to the incoming administration.
